HISTORY
The Kingdom of Alpha New Beginnings Ministries was divinely established on January 8, 2012, in the converted carport of the home of Pastors Hosea and Barbara Morrison in Monroe, North Carolina. Joined by their children, extended family, close friends, and trusted associates, this humble gathering marked the beginning of a powerful spiritual journey. Grounded in the prophetic word, “Despise not small beginnings,” their obedience to the Lord's calling ignited a ministry rooted in faith, transformation, and purpose.
The ministry’s name holds deep spiritual significance:

Kingdom: A steadfast commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God.

Alpha: Reflecting new beginnings and the divine starting point ordained by the Father.

New Beginnings: A vision of nurturing newborn believers in Christ with tenderness, love, and intentional discipleship.

Ministries: Representing the five-fold ministry—Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher—dedicated to equipping and edifying the Body of Christ for works of service and spiritual maturity.
On September 25, 2016, the ministry celebrated the dedication of current church building where its members continue to worship, grow, and serve. Today, The Kingdom of Alpha New Beginnings Ministries remains committed to building lives for the Kingdom, one soul at a time.
VISION
The Kingdom of Alpha New Beginnings Ministries envisions a vibrant body of believers empowered and equipped for Kingdom work. Through dynamic preaching, transformative teaching, intentional encouragement, spiritual elevation, and the exaltation of God's Word, we cultivate lives anchored in purpose and prepared to advance the Kingdom of God.
CALLING AND COMMISSION
Our calling is to introduce Jesus Christ to all people — to nurture and encourage their spiritual growth and development.
Our commission is to make disciples of men and women by equipping, empowering, and building them for the work set before us. We seek to use all the gifts that God has entrusted to His house for the edification of the Body of Christ, understanding that we are one body with many members, united in Christ’s Kingdom ministry. We are committed to Kingdom work, rooted in Kingdom principles, and to connecting like-minded believers and ministries for greater impact.
